Last but certainly not least for the Class of 2016, Nounou Photography had the privilege of creating senior portraits with Jordan. This beautiful young lady is a senior from Cypress Woods High School and was proud to cheer for the Wildcats as a varsity cheerleader. Although she doesn’t plan to cheer in college, we are sure that Jordan will certainly show spirit for her new school of choice – Blinn and then A&M College Station!
Jordan not only cheers to stay fit, but she also enjoys being an all-around athlete and is just a little competitive. She participated in her first ever IRONMAN North American Championship race in the Woodlands, Texas on May 14th. She not only had to train hard for this race, but she partnered with her mom and they set a goal to complete the race. The IRONMAN is a grueling triathlon which for this event consisted of 2.4 miles swim, 94 miles bike ride, and 26.2 miles run. Jordan completed the IRONMAN in a little over 14 hours and then helped cheer for her mom who finished shortly after Jordan- way to go ladies!
Jordan plans to continue her activity level and to teach others how to stay fit. She plans to major in kinesiology at Texas A&M – we wish this future Aggie all the best!
The word “entitled” gets tossed around often these days for the Millennial Generation, however, Linda doesn’t fit this description. From the first time we met Linda, we knew she is determined and is hard-working. She pretty much pays for her extra activities and fun, including most recently Prom activities and her senior portraits!
As a member of Pals and a senior from Cypress Lakes HS, Class of 2016, Linda represents what many of us might think has vanished. She enjoys spending time and encouraging younger children with Pals, she danced for the high school drill team for three years and has played defense for the high school girls soccer team for four years. Although we aren’t sure where she finds the time, she works at Randall’s so that she can afford the things that are important to her and she still has an upbeat personality and a beautiful smile.
Linda loves to cook and she especially likes to make dishes with fish. She finds her delicious recipes and inspiration in cooking magazines which she reads for enjoyment. In the future, Linda hopes to be a bilingual teacher at an elementary school and she plans to start this path at the University of Houston , Clear Lake in the fall.
We know your parents must be super proud of you Linda and we at Nounou Photography love your work ethic and honesty. Stay strong and we wish you nothing but the best!
Marissa is a high-achiever in many ways! She graduated a semester early from Langham Creek High School just so she could play Volleyball at Texas State University. Marissa is an excellent volleyball player and she attributes her success to her family’s support and her coaches training – of course her height is genetic and this helps too.
Nounou Photography has had the pleasure of photographing Marissa’s two older siblings, Carter and Brady. It was fun to finally meet Marissa and to see some insight into her current college life. Of course she shared that college is harder than high school, but she also said she likes it so much better – no surprises there! She is excited, however, that she still gets to return to LCHS and attend prom with her friends and continue to create those last high school memories!
Marissa is definitely a team player and has helped the Texas State Bobcats Volleyball Team win several victories! We wish her all the best as she continues with her studies at TSU and plays the sport she loves – Go Bobcats!
We say it quite often, but “time really flies”, at least when you look at time as we do photographing high school seniors – every year and everyone is unique! We photographed Jessica when she graduated high school and she was bubbly and excited, just waiting for her next adventure to begin at the University of Oklahoma. Through social media we have seen Jessica rush sorority – and make it; celebrate numerous firsts, lasts and simply just having fun with friends. She remains excited and still has a twinkle in eye for her next adventure!
Nounou Photography was blessed to once again photograph Jessica, this time as a destination photo shoot on the beautiful campus of Oklahoma University, located in Norman, Oklahoma. Jessica graduated with a BA in Science, with an emphasis in elementary education. She was a student teacher this spring semester and she has accepted full-time employment with an elementary school not far from Norman to begin teaching next school year.
We had such a blast photographing Jessica and reminiscing about some of her favorite places on campus. Jessica, you are going to be fantastic as a teacher and on those really tough days (you’ll have them) , think about your favorite elementary teacher and know that you have the power to influence the children placed in front of you for a lifetime, and then smile! Congratulations Miss Jansen – good things are still to come…
Reed is a senior from Cypress Ranch High School and in less than two weeks he will be walking across the stage to receive his diploma! We are sure that if the opportunity exists, Reed will have something witty to say to someone on stage, as he kept us laughing and on our toes the entire photo shoot. Reed is the youngest of six children, but his siblings are all girls so we think his humor has become a survival technique to cope with so many women in his life!
A senior safari session is what took Reed to some nearby fields to photograph his truck and his gun. Although his truck is quite easy to see, you might have to look a little closer for the gun with all the camouflage. This summer Reed is looking forward to a true safari to Africa with his dad which is sure to be a trip of a lifetime and will give Reed and his dad some extra special memories together. We believe this is wonderful especially since Reed admires his dad’s success and plans to major in Petroleum Engineering and perhaps follow in his dad’s footsteps.
Reed, all of us at Nounou Photogoraphy thank you for the laughs and for your creative ideas. We wish you all the best as you pursue your dream career at Texas A&M University in College Station!
A senior from Langham Creek HS, Dalton, was referred to us from a previous client. While Dalton enjoys working with his own camera and making videos, like most “photographers”, he doesn’t necessarily like being in front of the camera, at least not a “still-camera”, however, Dalton really enjoys making his own videos or Vlogs! Dalton had many of his own ideas – again not surprising, especially given that his mom is an artist and he enjoys his camera – and we welcomed his ideas and creativity.
Over the last couple of months, Dalton has started a “daily life video” and since his senior portraits were part of his day, he shows a portion of his session in his Vlog! Also another cool thing, Dalton loves Star Wars and the tag line on the back of his letterman is “Force Be With You” which Teresa quickly picked up on and recognized that we were photographing his senior portraits on May 4th! We think Dalton has some ideas to share with the world and just enjoys life – since he’s capturing it daily with his video camera, he will have many memories to reminisce about later in life.
When searching for universities, Dalton was impressed by the hospitality he was shown from the start at the University of Tennessee. He and his family liked the feel of the campus and the city of Knoxville combined with the beautiful campus, won them over.
We wish you all the best Dalton at the University of Tennessee – Go Volunteers!
Nounou Photography had the pleasure of photographing Zachary’s two older sisters, Brittany and Taylor, and we are so blessed to finish with the youngest, Zac!
We learned very quickly that Zac was willing to give us an hour to create and he was doing this for his mom – but after just over an hour, I think he would agree, he really did have a good time! Zac is a senior at Cypress Ranch High School and he earned his letterman by running track. He is quite fast and his best events are the 100 and 200-meter dash.
Zac shared one of his favorite life experiences with us and we want to share it too. He said he has been surfing once and really had a blast – “one of the best moments ever”! He is trying to convince his family to take him to Hawaii where he can really ride some waves! We’re sure there are some incentives that could be put in place for this goal…
Zac plans to attend Texas A&M University in College Station and major in Construction Science. With all of the construction planned in our area, this seems like a path that will enable Zac to graduate with a career that keeps him in the Lonestar state if this is indeed his goal (we know mom would like this option).
